When you go to the airport, you often have to take the skytran/shuttle to the terminal from which the plane is departing. So, sometimes before you can embark on a journey to the next phase of existence or being, you must successfully transition your status- emotionally, psychologically, physically, spiritually.
We are no longer in a dense 3rd dimensional reality- we're in 4th/5th dimensional reality. Many people need assistance in this transition, as they are rooted in their ways and theories, and are having difficulty shifting their frequencies and personal energy.
It is wise to elevate your light- your energy in order to fully live in these new and exciting times.
This EP is to assist you in the shift of your light.. (all but a couple of the songs are produced by me). it is an accompaniment to your transition. This is why it is called "Transit to Illumination". Everything, even change is often best when it is gradual, although it doesnt have to be- theres a difference between change and transformation. Transformation is instantaneous; change occurs over a period of time.
Either way, a shift in vibration takes place. Your shift will occur whether you like it or not...you have a choice to submit or resist; either way, newness is inevitable.
Prayerfully these songs, will assist you in your shift, and hold you over until the release of my sophomore album, The Mastery. Before one can assume master status, one must first complete the shift into a mindset or life of elevation.

The Mayan Calendar has 13 dots around counter-clockwise.
13 is the second star number of the hexagon.
13 major joints in the body.
13 lunar cycles in a year.
The moon travels 13 degrees across the sky everyday.
The glyph which represents both the start and end of the Aztec calendar is known as "13 Cane", and symbolizes the death of one cycle, followed by the birth of another - the Alpha and Omega.
There's the 13th rune - called "Eiwaz" - in the Northern European mythos- the balance point between light and dark, the creative force and the destructive force, or the heavens and the Underworld. It too is the Alpha and Omega at the same time.
In the traditional tarot deck, the 13th card is the Death card. It also represents not merely death, but rebirth and renewal. {same principles as the Phoenix...nothing's coincidental..} Furthermore, To the ancient Egyptians, these sources tell us, life was a quest for spiritual ascension which unfolded in stages — 12 in this life and a 13th beyond, thought to be the eternal afterlife.
These were obviously pivotal concepts to ancient cultures, the understanding of which has faded down the centuries.
This information could go on and on but for those of you who take many stories/allegories literally in the popular Holy books- are you now perhaps able to see a pattern??
12 apostles and a Messiah. 12 Knights of the Round Table and King Arthur. 12 constellations + the sun. 12 main chakras + the 3rd eye..
Obviously I'm not summarizing all esoteric/arcane information in one blog but- Post-Christianity"/"post-Vatican", this information was suppressed,re-arranged and mythologized.. many of the religious stories and characters people take as literal are symbols of ancient science.. big pill to swallow for many but it is what it is.

Independent study will often teach you that that which you are told to not explore holds much information pertinent to your self-mastery, as well as the answers to many questions about life, the universe, and everything in between...
Ive learned that most people cannot even justify their aversion to the number 13...just another mysterious concept that the "sheeple" (people who blindly follow like sheep)avoid, becuase they believed what they were taught without foundation or justification..
The Chinese regarded the number as lucky, some commentators note, as did the Egyptians in the time of the pharaohs and pharoahesses. ife.
Though Egyptian civilization perished, the symbolism conferred on the number 13 by its priesthood survived, only to be corrupted by subsequent cultures who came to associate 13 with a fear of death instead of a reverence for the afterlife...
Other sources speculate that the number 13 may have been purposely vilified by the founders of patriarchal (male-dominated) religions in the early days of western civilization because it represented femininity. Thirteen had been revered in prehistoric goddess-worshiping cultures, we are told, because it corresponded to the number of lunar (menstrual) cycles in a year (13 x 28 = 364 days). As the solar calendar triumphed over the lunar with the rise of male-dominated civilization, it is surmised, so did the number 12 over the number 13, thereafter considered ANATHEMA....
12 months /zodiac in a year...12 disciples....you get it...anything to avoid 13 because 13 was a "goddess-represented" number...
Anyway, there are thirteen principles of faith in the Jewish religion and boys don't have a bah mitzvah til they turn thirteen....
13 is considered a "Karmic Debt Number," as are the numbers 14, 16, and 19. These numbers involve more challenging karma than other numbers.
Otherwise, in matters of love, the number 13 involving time cycles is solid and very often exceedingly fruitful.

[If u are a traditional thinker who accepts/believes what's "in the box", this may be a little left but its dope...] If u feel adventurous, continue to listen and he breaks down why holidays from valentines day to Easter/Christmas are scheduled on specific days...this calls to mind even the world cup taking place during a solar eclipse/new moon..

As an empathic, sympathetic, highly intuitive person, caring for me has never been difficult. I mean, I'm a woman, w/ a Cancer sun, a Pisces moon,a Cancer in Venus, and Jupiter in Scorpio (that's a lotta water!!)so the ability to feel for me is second nature. Feelings actually denote that you're still living..you actually have a pulse.
If you still have care running through the fabric of your being, applaud yourself. Actually, in modern society, everything from genetically altered foods to overexposure to violence media images can leave you heartless, desensitized, and maddened (in the most psychotic sense). That's right, foods affect your emotions...how do you think military men are driven to kill and feel no sense of remorse for the act? Chemically altered foods.
Further, emotions are key because they are the gateway to the soul's evolution..how will your soul know itself if its not learning about itself through what the body experiences via feelings?
So you don't wanna be one of those as Mobb Deep says, "real n***az who aint got no feelings".. Trust and believe - you will need to be highly perceptive and aware (and sensitive within reason) in order to reasonably adjust in these rapidly shifting times...
BUT MEANWHILE, WHILE YOU CARE, IT IS BEST THAT YOU...
DO NOT GIVE A F***.
What do I mean by "don't give a f***"? Well, while you are a caring individual who shows concern for the well-being of loved ones and the state of the world around you, its best to not become overly consumed with care and concern for the trivialities and minutia of life, that bear no overall importance in neither the larger picture of life, nor your immediate purpose.
Whose Facebook relationship status changed to "it's complicated"? WHO GIVES A F***. What's poppin on "Basketball Wives"? WHO GIVES A F***. Who's following who on Twitter? WHO GIVES A F*** . Who are YOU sleeping with? WHO GIVES A F***
In a world where we're constantly inundated w/ insignificant information that's deliberately placed in our midst as distractions, its easy to be caught up in things that don't really matter.
Yeah, distractions-- Distractions that interfere with you seeing what's really going on in the world around you...distractions deliberately placed to keep your mindstate primitive and your vibrational frequencies low...
why? so that u can be easily controlled...but I digress..
Everyone is here for a specific purpose- your time is valuable. Don't care about things that wont play a role in the fruition of your purpose. In short, don't care about things that don't matter...
And guess what- if you happen to find yourself caring about stuff that doesn't matter, you've got approximately 3 minutes to shift your vibration and re-focus. Otherwise, the energy that you invest in the irrelevant can cause your vibration to slow down which can even lead to illness when you remain stuck..
So keep caring, but dont give a F&&& about that nonsense.. shout to TelisaD for this amazing philosophical view!!

MASTER REVOLVING WOMAN: A Tiye Phoenix Video Medley directed by First Be
One of the strongest critiques I consistently read about my debut album Half Woman Half Amazin is that it contains a very well balanced sonic and lyrical variety, which made for a commendable diverse display of hip hop. Everyone who enjoys the album seems to have a different favorite song all for different reasons. For this reason, I chose to shoot a video medley of 3 different songs from the album: Master Plan (prod. by DJ Jazzy Jeff) Revolving Door (prod. by DJ Scratch) and Half Woman Half Amazin (prod. by yours truly); three different songs with respect to content, yet very much kin to one another in spirit. First, the etymology of the word MOOR- (via Wikepedia): MORENO, from the Latin root, can mean "tanned" in Spain and Portugal. In Cuba and other Spanish-speaking countries, as in Portuguese speaking Brazil, it can mean "black person"..
Also in Spanish, MORAPIO is a humorous name for "wine", specially that which has not been "baptized" or mixed with water, i.e., pure unadulterated wine- (I personally believe this term wine describes melanin- why would it not?) Further in spanish usage, MORO is used to describe all things dark..
Okay now..so there's the etymology of the word MOOR..moving along- couple it with the word "fire" (spelled "fiyah" in this instance for ebonical reasons lol)..what do you got?
Black Fire....yup, Black Fire.
There's soooooo many places I can go with meanings of BLACK FIRE..of course, it can all go back to melanin,(see post from two days prior for a brief melanin overview if you need one); You ever heard people say that "black people draw heat"? Well, if you understand the properties of melanin you know that statement is not a joke, it is biologically and metaphysically true!!

Then, of course it can symbolize the phoenix(fire rising) legacy-- i mean after all,its black fire right? [The phoenix fire rising is actually likened to the kundalini rising in many spiritual studies but again, another blog for another time]..

Everyday, until I premiere my video, I will post a different pic from the video in which Im wearing a tee that bears a message..this tee reads, "If You're Melanated then Celebrate It!"
In "The Matrix" (1999) there's a scene during which the lead character Neo visits the Oracle, and in her kitchen over the door there hangs a phrase "TEMET NOSCE", a Latin aphorism which translates to "Thine own self, thou must know"...
I have found that everyday along the journey of life, new and exciting information is revealed leading me closer to a more profound, evolved understanding of myself. Some of the most mind-blowing information I've downloaded into my being in recent times comes from my study of melanin...
Ive know what melanin is for a long time, but I wasn't fully informed about its usages,purposes,properties, and significance. I simply thought it was the element within certain human beings that gives their skin hair and eyes its pigmentation..well, pigmentation is only the surface of what defines melanin..
In short, melanin contains within it the entire electromagnetic spectrum--all the colors of the rainbow---it is LIVING LIGHT. This is why melanated people must "charge up" their melanocytes (pigment-giving cells) in the sun..its empowering on so many levels..from natural ability to manufacture vitamins like Niacin and Vitamin D, to actually receiving light to transfer information..(hence the Dogon people in Africa who could see constellations thousands of miles away, and draw them without the usage of telescopes..this was possible because of transmission of the images via light received by the melanin in the skin, which produced the images in the brain.)
The benefits and purposes of melanin are not only biochemical,but spiritual as well..active pineal glands (third eye) secrete melanin.. Im sure you're familiar with the terms "dark matter", or perhaps you even saw the movie "Pitch Black", which refers to the infinite blackness that is called "outer space"..well this primordial matter is "melanin".. its also referred to as "junk DNA", (a different type of melanin than the melanocytes). It is that element scientists say is the "undefined" missing part of the universe...(missing? yeah right...)
This is not a scientific blog so I wont continue in further detail about all of the wonders that define this beautiful compound..but perhaps you will be inspired to research this on your own. Melanated people are walking around with this priceless goldmine and many do not know it, and sadly many even believe melanin is a liability. Its used to make pharmaceuticals like melatonin, seratonin, etc., and a synthetic form of it is even used to coat the base of space shuttles so they dont combust upon entering space..[hmmm..has your mind started to yet question where "they" are getting this precious melanin from that's being used in the creation of these things?] (different blog for a different time)...
